Mark came to the housing authority in 1995 from Tununak where he was employed as the Director of the Native Village of Tununak for 10 years and where he owned a small business, managed a family store, worked for the village corporation and fished commercially in Bristol Bay and Nelson Island. He also served as a member and Chairman of the Lower Kuskokwim School District; Tununak Advisory School Board, Chairman of Tununrmiut Rinit Corporation and Chairman and President of Village Aviation d/b/a Camai Air.
Mark oversees the planning, developing and implementation of AVCP RHA programs including the Indian Housing Plan, housing management, housing services, homeownership programs, rental programs, village allocation program, education housing assistance program, emergency voucher assistance program, housing assistance program, privately-owned home program, grants and computer technology for the housing authority.
Mark, a Yup’ik Eskimo, born and raised in Tununak. He is married and has 6 children.
